Ross’ body lay sprawled on the floor. He looked at the ground… what was happening. His head hurt, his whole body was shaking. He wanted to cry but something had taken the tears from him and besides he did not understand what he would cry for. He closed his eyes…
When he awoke he found himself at his home, he lived on his own. In front of him lay a small note, after the previous events he wondered if his curiosity will get him killed. But he opened the note anyway and it read….
Dear Ross
Have you found yourself yet? Don’t let the hallucinations get to your head. Remember back last summer when I saw you last? When you fell into that lake I thought you were finished. I refused to tell me parents what had happened. I am sorry I left you….
I write you this in hope that you are alive and that your head is not closing in on you.
P.S
I know were you are and what’s been going on just hope this reaches you in time before it’s to late. It’s just that…..
Ross closed his eyes for the first time he remembered the events of that summer. But no, she left him to die. How could he forgive that?  Maybe it was just fear. Fear that word over took his mind...
He thought, earlier his inner feelings gave him the courage to protect. Protect.. Another word that filled his mind with despair. But this time he tried to forget, forgetting seemed to bring about remembrance….but this time, it was different.

I'm amazed at one thing. And I'm not that sure what that 'thing' is.
